About me

Broad general IT knowledge and proficient in information architecture and design. Experienced in various programming languages. Professional experience in technical computer support/system administration, (IT) process analysis and political analysis. Gained international experience from professional and academic pursuits at the Netherlands Embassy and Technical University in Berlin. An open, social and enthusiastic person, driven by creating business and social value by making use of information technology.

Interests

IT & design

I produce technology prototypes and visualizations, mostly web-based since my 12th. Some of this work can be found on my techblog

Politics

I have an ongoing interest in politics and thus was Intern at the Royal Dutch Embassy in Berlin, President of the board of JOVD Twente and candidate in 2014 for the VVD for the urban district Amsterdam-West.

Study Background

I hold a Master of Science degree in Business Information Technology (cum laude) and a bachelor in the same field, including a minor in industrial design. Next to my study, I was involved in numerous activities, including member of the board of study association Inter-Actief and organization committee of the Dutch National Computer Science Congres, SNiC.
